"I am not daunted and I am confident that with the support of my colleagues and the people of Tobago, we will continue to move Tobago in the direction we want it to go.”

He also thanked former chief secretary Kelvin Charles for his contributions to the development of Tobago.

THA chief administrator Bernadette Solomon-Koroma said, “It is a pleasure to welcome Mr Dennis to the Office of the Chief Secretary. I look forward to working with him and expect that he will bring his own unique style, infused with youth and passion to the operations of Office of Chief Secretary.
