24 more samples sent for testing

TWENTY-FOUR samples have been submitted for testing, since last night’s update from the Ministry of Health.

The 10 am update on Tuesday revealed the total number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is 2,358, up from 2,334 on Monday night.

Of those, the number of unique patient tests done is 2,016 and the number of repeated tests is 342.

The number of confirmed cases remains at 116 with eight deaths, and the number of patients discharged remains at 107.

There is one patient left at the Couva hospital and that person is in a stable condition.
