More training with mentally ill

THE EDITOR: While we must congratulate Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith for the excellent work he and his team are doing to combat crime, one thing is missing.

Many of them do not know how to deal with mental cases. From the time they learn an individual is mentally ill and carrying a weapon, it is to kill him.

More training is needed for police in dealing with mental patients.
