Rethink strategy

THE EDITOR: I refer to the newspaper story in which a well-intentioned individual is seeking permission to use a vacant lot for agricultural purposes. This is truly commendable, and should be encouraged in the short run, but there would be a serious problem in the long run, as this is prime real estate.

Real estate developers will be squabbling with the occupiers who would not be willing to give up their plots of land if they are successful.

Please rethink this strategy.
