Bandits rob school, church

North Eastern Division police are probing the theft of $1,800 from a primary school cafeteria and the break-in at a church, together with the theft of musical equipment, among other things, valued at $14,000.

The two incidents occurred between Saturday night and early Sunday.

In the first incident, around 3 am, estate police constable Valerie Williams an MTS guard, made a check at the Don Miguel Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha Hindu school, when everything seemed intact.
