He was Tobago's best

THE EDITOR: We have lost another great calypsonian. Winston Bailey aka "Shadow" is no more. He was Tobago's best offering, plain talk bad manners. His calypsoes always had "plenty music." He sang among the best.

My two favourites from him are "Snake in d Baliser" and "They wukking Obeah." Let us honour our calypso greats when they are alive and can appreciate it. I remember him saying, "A lion is never without his beard." Winston Bailey whereever you are compere, "Jus for you we come out with real fire this year."
