Mt St George man stabbed to death

Police are investigating the murder of a Tobago man whose body was found near his home in Mt St George. The man has been identified as Shurmeal Duncan, 23. Duncan’s murder is Tobago’s fourth for the year.

Passers-by found Duncan’s body lying on the side of the road, just after midnight a short distance away from his home, and alerted police.

The man bore what appeared to be several stab wounds about his upper torso. Tobago police officers cordoned off the scene and ordered Duncan’s body removed to the Scarborough General Hospital.
