Allyson Baksh resigns

Allyson Baksh has submitted her resignation from the portfolio of Government Senator.

This news comes following a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister late tonight.

Prime Minister, Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley accepted her resignation and thanked Ms. Baksh for her service and contribution to the Senate since her appointment in September 2015.

Ms. Baksh will be replaced by Mr. Ronald Huggins who has served during the 11th Republican Parliament as a Temporary Government Senator.
