Licensing Office relocation pushed back

The relocation of Tobago’s Licensing Office has been pushed back. According to the Tobago House of Assembly’s Division of Infrastructure, the move to Milshirv Complex will now be completed by December 11.

A statement from the division said this was because of delays in the shipping of furniture and other items by at least two weeks, as shippers have been occupied providing relief to islands affected by recent hurricanes. All other work at the new office has been completed.

The division says while it awaits the readiness of the new location, operations at Shaw Park remain the same. In February last year, the licensing office was closed temporarily because of health and safety issues and staff began working shorter hours.
