Yoga evening under the stars

The Sage Path is hosting a special evening of yoga, classical Indian dance and interfaith devotional music under the stars at the Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Freeport on Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The group hopes that this gathering will be an uplifting and community-building event.

Among the offerings are an experience in ancient yoga, traditional Indian delicacies, soul-nourishing arts, and fellowship.

The yoga and meditation practice will be led by Sage Path teachers and is suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Music will be provided by the group Naadah featuring interfaith devotional chanting and classical Bharatanatyam dance by Alana Rajah.

Chai and traditional Indian food will be provided by Namaste India restaurant at $50 per plate.

Entrance to the event is free but proceeds will go towards sending a team of counsellors to Dominica.
