Nominations open for Youth Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2017 Tobago Youth Awards.

Every year, the event highlights and celebrates the contributions of Tobago’s youth between the ages of 12 to 29 to their communities and to the development of Tobago. The public is invited to nominate a young Tobagonian who has made a positive contribution between October 2016 and September 2017.

The individual award categories include Education, Health and Wellness, Youth Triumph, Agriculture, Media, Youth Service, Entrepreneurship, the Performing Arts, Youth Leader, People’s Choice (Student Leadership) and Youth Mentor (30 and over).

The categories for the group awards are Most Improved Youth Organisation, Most Effective Youth Programme/Project, and Most Outstanding Youth Organisation.

Nominations close on September 21, 2017. Nomination forms can be collected at the Division of Sports and Youth Affairs’ Dutch Fort Plaza offices, or downloaded from the Division’s Facebook page.
