2 deaths, 85 new covid19 cases

The Ministry of Health recorded 85 new covid19 cases in its 4pm update on Wednesday.

These figures reflect samples taken between April 11 and 13.

There are now 630 active cases and there have been 148 deaths, up from 146.

Sixty-six patients are in hospital, 247 in state quarantine, five in step-down facilities, and 474 in self-isolation.

The update said 11,686 people have been vaccinated since the rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

There have been 8,596 covid19 cases to date and 7,818 people have recovered from the virus.

A total of 118,602 people have been tested at both private and public facilities.
