Man fined for damaging police glass door

While running away from police on Wednesday, a man smashed into a glass door in the charge room of the San Fernando Police Station.

Today the man Kevin Remy, 37, appeared before Senior Magistrate Cherril-Anne Antoine and pleaded guilty. PC Ramsaroop charged Remy with the malicious damage to the door, property of the government.

Attorney Ainsley Lucky said his client panicked while making a report regarding a domestic matter. The magistrate fined Remy, $1,500.
