Nominations for cricket board elections closes on October 10 at 4 pm

Nomination forms for the October 25 TT Cricket Board (TTCB) elections must be returned to their headquarters in Balmain, Couva, by 4 pm on October 10.
Forms are available at the TTCB office only, between 9 am and 4 pm, and must be returned during these hours by the October 10 deadline. Late nominations will not be accepted, a TTCB statement confirmed on October 7.
Additionally, the completed forms must be handed in only to members of the elections committee, who will be downstairs of the Alloy Lequay Administrative Centre.
Those who wish to contest for TTCB executive posts have been reminded that no person is authorised to collect the nomination forms on behalf of the elections committee.
TTCB members, or alternates voting on election day, will be required to submit via email or in-person to the TTCB office: one valid form of photo ID (national ID card, driver’s permit or passport) no later than October 17.
This will be placed in a binder by the elections committee to verify their identity on election day, where they will be required to present the same form of ID to vote.
The deadline for withdrawal of nominations by candidates is October 22, which is also the final day for finalising alternates to vote on a member’s behalf. Withdrawal can only be done by the candidate.
On October 23, the elections committee will supervise the printing of the ballot papers which will remain in their possession until election day. Voting takes place at the Alloy Lequay Centre on October 25 from 9 am-1 pm.
TTCB’s annual general meeting (AGM) bowls off from 3 pm, at which the election results will be officially announced.
