Flow Trinidad has launched its Technician Pathways Development Programme, a forward-thinking initiative designed to enhance the skills of 100 eligible frontline technicians and elevate service delivery across Trinidad and Tobago.

In a release, Flow Trinidad said the programme includes a comprehensive training framework aimed at upskilling technical teams within the ever-evolving telecommunications industry.

Speaking at the programme launch, Reneasha Simmons-Phillips, senior manager at Flow Trinidad, said: "Our frontline technicians fuel the foundation of our business.

"The Technician Pathways Development Programme is about empowering and investing in our people – providing them with the tools, knowledge and support needed to deliver world-class service in an increasingly digital world."

Simmons-Phillips added that the programme is more than just technical training.

The programme offers a dynamic blend of learning opportunities, including formal e-learning modules and immersive, hands-on workshops that focus on customer service excellence and emerging technologies.

It also provides access to mentorship and career coaching, supporting technicians in both their personal and professional growth.

"Through Flow’s partnership with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), the programme also offers industry certification. This strategic initiative underscores Flow Trinidad’s ongoing commitment to workforce development and service excellence in the telecommunications sector," the release said.
