SPIRIT Mas launched its Carnival 2026 presentation, Spirit People, before a sold-out audience at Drew Manor on July 26.

The reveal featured a blend of art, performance, and storytelling that honoured the many cultures that have shaped TT’s identity.

Each costume was introduced through a choreographed cultural performance, adding depth and context to the elaborate designs on display.

“This theme is close to our hearts,” said Adrian Scoon, CEO of Spirit Mas. “Spirit People is not just a band, it’s a reflection of the rich cultural DNA that makes us who we are. So put a lot of thought into not only in the costume design, but also the performances. We knew we had a responsibility to honour these influences in a way that was both respectful and celebratory, and we’re proud of the way our team delivered.”
