Gas station attendant, 47, robbed at Tabaquite workplace

A 47-year-old gas station attendant was robbed by two men on the evening of July 24 while working at the Tabaquite Service Station.
According to reports, a dark blue Nissan Almera car with heavily tinted windows pulled up to the station at around 6 pm, and a male occupant got out and bought $100 worth of gas.
As he was refuelling, a second man got out of the right back passenger seat and announced a hold-up.
He forced the attendant into the nearby office, where both men stole an undisclosed sum of cash from a drawer, the victim’s cellphone, a carton of Lucky Strike cigarettes and two Turbo car batteries valued at $850 each.
The suspects got back into the car and fled east along the Tabaquite Main Road.
Police from the Brasso Police Station were notified, and they searched the area, but the suspects remained at large.
PC Mathura is leading the investigation.
