THE U Health & Wellness Exposition returns with renewed energy and an even stronger commitment to transforming lives through education, empowerment, and innovation. at the Hyatt Regency on May 27 and 28.

A media release said, this two-day event promises an exceptional experience that informs, engages, and inspires citizens toward a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle.

Since its inception in 2010, the exposition has grown into a powerful, inclusive platform, welcoming thousands of attendees each year including students, healthcare professionals, and members of the public.

It brings together key stakeholders such as government ministries, public and private healthcare institutions, wellness professionals, lifestyle solution providers, international experts, and educational organisations, all united in a shared mission: to promote health, well-being, and preventative care across Trinidad and Tobago, the release said.

This year, the exposition introduces two new features aimed at not only raising awareness but also influencing national health policy:

Youth mental health and wellness forums: Designed to spotlight one of the most urgent public health challenges today, these interactive sessions will provide students and young adults with tools for emotional resilience, coping strategies, and mental health literacy, while giving a voice to youth perspectives on well-being.

Panel discussion – Implementing a comprehensive cancer registry as a catalyst for advancing TT's healthcare system: This high-level discussion will bring together policymakers, researchers, and healthcare advocates to explore the urgent need for a national cancer registry. The session aims to catalyse real policy advancement in cancer care, early detection, and research-based health planning.

The U Health & Wellness Exposition offers something for everyone, from hands-on experiences to expert-led talks, wellness workshops, health screenings, and product showcases. Attendees will gain access to the latest in: Preventative health strategies, natural and alternative therapies, health food products and innovations, technological advancements in diagnostics and care, resources for chronic disease management and youth health and family wellness, the release said.

The exposition is free and open to the public from 10 am-7 pm.
