Rain delays Rising Stars men's U19 matches again
RAIN in St Vincent forced the match between TT and Windwards Islands to a no result and also delayed the start of the other two West Indies Rising Stars Men’s U19 Two-Day Championship matches on July 17.
At the Park Hill Playing Field in Colonaire, not a ball was bowled in the TT match because of the weather. As a result, TT are still winless after three matches since their first two, against Barbados and Jamaica ended with drawn results because of rain.
Up to press time on July 17, the other matches were still in progress because of delayed starts.
At Arnos Vale Playing Field in Kingstown, an unbeaten 75 from Jatario Prescod guided Barbados U19s to a stern 201/9 after 64 overs. After 11 overs, Guyana were 31/5 in pursuit.
And at Sion Hill Playing Field Leewards Islands were dismissed for 80 in 29.2 overs, with Jamaica on 3/1 after two overs.
