Artists donate to help Animal Welfare Network fundraiser
The Animal Welfare Network (AWN) is hosting a fundraising art exhibition on November 4 from 10 am-4 pm at Y Art Gallery in Woodbrook.
Paintings, jewellery, wooden sculptures, metal work and more have been donated by renowned Trinidad and Tobago artists for the exhibition.
Che Lovelace, Janice Derrick, Roberta Stoddart, Shastri Maharaj, Jackie Hinkson and Bunty O'Connor are among the artists who have donated their pieces for this cause.
AWN a non-profit organisation is in dire need of funds to continue its work – helping to rescue, rehabilitate, spay/neuter owned and roaming dogs and cats across the country as well as running a primary-school education programme.
The exhibition is being spearheaded by gallery director Yasmin Hadeed and artist Roberta Stoddart, in collaboration with AWN.
