Woman, 21, shot at in Rancho Quemado

Erin police are investigating a shooting on Thursday afternoon at Rancho Quemado in which a woman escaped being hit.

Reports are at around 4.15 pm, a 21-year-old woman from Lorensette Road was walking along the road, where a group of men were liming at the roadside.

There were two gunshots and she immediately began running for cover.

She was not hit, and there were no reports of other injuries.

The police were called, but when they arrived, the group was already dispersed.

No one has been arrested. Sgt Haynes is leading investigations.
