The TT Manufacturers Association (TTMA) led a trade mission to St Lucia from August 9-12.

In a release, TTMA said, “This trade mission included 21 local manufacturers with a total of 35 people from the food and beverage; printing and packaging; chemicals; apparels and garments; cosmetics; services and construction sectors.”

The mission was led by led by TTMA president Roger Roach, along with CEO Ramesh Ramdeen and ExporTT’s general manager Dhanraj Harrypersad.

TTMA said the mission to St Lucia was important, as manufacturers will have the opportunity to look for new opportunities in the market, and strengthen the existing partnership between St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.

“This mission is just one of many that is being pursued within the Export Booster Initiative that is being facilitated by exporTT in attempting to further find avenues for local manufacturers to compete in the regional and international markets,” the release said.
