Rain washes out Under-17 round three matches

ALL round three matches in the Rising Stars Cricket West Indies Under-17 50-Over tournament were abandoned because of rain on Wednesday.

Trinidad and Tobago were carded to play Jamaica at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva. Leeward Islands were expected to face Barbados at Inshan Ali Park in Preysal and Windward Islands and Guyana were scheduled to battle at Gilbert Park in California.

TT and Barbados have made strong starts in the tournament, winning their opening two matches. Round four will bowl off on Friday at 9.30 am.

Round four fixtures:

TT vs Guyana, PowerGen Ground, Penal

Barbados vs Jamaica, Gilbert Park

Leeward Islands vs Windward Islands, National Cricket Centre
