Lange Trinidad Insurance Ltd rebrands to Lange Insurance + Financial

The directors of Lange Trinidad Insurance Ltd have rebranded the company to Lange Insurance + Financial as a way of providing better service to its clients and partners.

Lange Insurance + Financial – an agency for the Guardian Group – held its ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Lady Hailes, San Fernando office on August 4.

In a release, manager of Lange Insurance + Financial Petra Chadee said, “Our business has stood the test of time and I have come to realise that uncertainty in any business comes when we least expect it for example covid19, but being prepared for any risk which is the business we are in allows us to be resilient.”

The company has offices in Port of Spain and Chaguanas.

Director of Lange Trinidad Insurance Ltd Steven Blanc, in his remarks, said, “For over six decades, our company, Lange Trinidad Ltd, has proudly served our community. We started our journey in the 1960s as agents for Lloyds of London, then transitioned through Nemwil and our portfolio now resides with Guardian General Insurance Ltd. Through each phase, we've adopted new identities – from EJ Lange and Co, Lange Eighty, to Lange Trinidad.”

He added that the transition to Lange Insurance + Financial represents a strategic move to further establish its presence in the industry and reinforce its core services.

Also speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, mayor of San Fernando Junia Regrello said Lange is a household name and has laid a solid foundation that stands on a 60-year legacy which customers have grown to love and appreciate.

He added, "Everyone in San Fernando knows Lange for batteries and now insurance.”

Public relations officer of the San Fernando Business Association Roger Supersad, who mentioned he was a long-standing customer, insurance policyholder and a businessman, said, “I would prefer any day to spend a few more dollars on quality for my customers for the sake of not losing them.”

The release added that the board, manager and the team led the company to first place of the Agency of the Year Medium Category 2022 at Guardian General’s Annual Award Ceremony on June 23.

This achievement comes two years after placing second in the same category.
