Disclose those VAT defaulters

THE EDITOR: The Government must urgently disclose the names of state corporations that are VAT registered and are failing to pay billions of dollars in collections to the VAT office. Transparency is crucial to ensure accountability and address the fiscal deficit.

By revealing the defaulters, the Government can take the necessary actions to recover the funds, strengthen tax compliance, and promote fair economic practices. This will instil public confidence and demonstrate the Government's commitment to financial responsibility and equitable revenue collection.
