Tourism Trinidad Ltd will be using a double-booth space in the Bougainvillea Hall at this year’s Trade and Investment Convention (TIC) from Thursday-Saturday at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya.

It will use this space to showcase a design theme by one of TT’s local designers, it said in a release last Thursday.

Tourism Trinidad Ltd’s CEO Carla Cupid said, "We are pleased to be attending TIC 2023. This is a tremendous opportunity for us to connect with industry leaders, highlight our attractive investment opportunities and business developments in Trinidad, as well as establish valuable partnerships. At the same time, Trinidad’s distinctive and exciting product will be placed front and centre before a local, regional, and international audience.”

The release said visitors to the booth will have access to comprehensive information on Trinidad’s tourism product, investment opportunities and upcoming events. A team will also be present to hold business-to-business meetings through the convention to develop business leads, foster collaborations and strengthen relationships.

TIC 2023 is a platform that attracts over 500 regional and international buyers, including country missions and representatives of large regional distributors. With 200 booths, the convention will be attended by 2,000 local professionals and decision-makers from the private and public sector, 800 small business entrepreneurs and multi-sectoral exhibits from 200 companies.
