First Citizens opens West Vale branch

First Citizens has opened its newest branch in West Vale, located at the Diego Martin regional corporation administrative complex.

The branch will offer a wide-range of banking and investment services, including deposits, withdrawals, loans, and other financial products and services, to meet the needs of the local community.

In a press release, First Citizens said this branch-opening is a testament to its commitment to delivering excellent in-branch and digital banking services to its customers throughout TT.

First Citizens group CEO Karen Darbasie said, “By offering a financial services hub for personal, business banking and investment services, we’re doing our part to facilitate ease of access to quality services for all as we match the needs of this community”.

In September, the group will be celebrating its 30th anniversary milestone.

Speaking at the opening, Finance Minister Colm Imbert said, “Within the first few years of First Citizens back in the 90’s the bank made a profit of 20 million dollars and that was hailed as a fantastic achievement. Now 30 years later the bank is making profit before tax of almost a billion dollars.”

The group’s local footprint includes 24 conveniently located branches and 130 ATMs as well as a regional operations in Barbados, Costa Rica, St Lucia and St Vincent & the Grenadines.
