Only 11 months in year?

THE EDITOR: Realising that my National Identification Card is due to expire in January 2023, I attempted to make an appointment via the online portal on July 20, six months prior to the expiration date, in order to ensure I receive my new card on time.

On completion of the majority of information required for making the appointment, I realised I was unable to select a date. I contacted the EBC Office in Arima by telephone and was informed that all appointments till the end of 2022 were filled.

The portal only has dates listed until November 30. Doesn't 2022 include the month of December? Has the calendar year unknowingly been reduced to 11 months? Can't the portal be opened for appointments from December 1 onwards?
