EBC offices closed at noon

THE Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) closed its offices early on Tuesday because of the potential tropical cyclone approaching Trinidad and Tobago.

In a statement, the EBC said all of its offices were closed at noon.

People with appointments scheduled for Tuesday afternoon will have their appointments rescheduled.

The EBC apologised for the inconvenience but said it had become necessary in the interest of public safety.

The public will be advised of the resumption of activities at the EBC's offices as soon as possible.
