SCORPION TITANS Blue Devils brushed aside Soca Kings by 55 runs, on Tuesday, in the Dream XI T10 Blast, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba.

This was the second scheduled game of a double-header; the earlier fixture, between Cocrico Cavaliers and Steelpan Strikers, was abandoned without a ball being bowled, due to the inclement weather.

Blue Devils tallied a score of 114 runs for the loss of three wickets, in their allotted ten overs, courtesy of an unbeaten 56 from Aaron Alfred, which included four boundaries and five sixes, off 23 deliveries. Vishan Jagessar scored an unbeaten 30 (22 deliveries, two fours and a six).

Kavesh Kantasingh was the best bowler for Soca Kings, taking one wicket for 15 runs.

In response, Soca Kings were restricted to 59/6 in their ten overs. Vikash Mohan took 2/3 and Christopher Vincent 2/8 for Blue Devils.

Isaiah Rajah (17 not out) and captain Jason Mohammed (12) were the only batsmen to reach double figures for Soca Kings.

The tournament continues daily until the final, and third-place playoff, on Friday.
