Felix stars for Dream Team in Sweet 16 Football

DEVONTE Felix demonstrated his finishing ability by scoring a beaver-trick for Dream Team in the Sweet 16 Football League at the Ojoe Road Recreational Grounds in Sangre Grande, on June 10.

Felix scored in the sixth, 48th, 62nd and 86th minutes of play to help Dream Team defeat Matura 5-3. Also finding the back of the net for Dream Team was Keshawn Diaz who converted in the 66th minute.

On target for Matura were Carlon Wight (50th), Kaydon Gabriel (56th) and Jason Joseph (75th).

On Saturday, Athletico emerged with a convincing 6-2 victory over Arima Tigers.

Amien Weeks scored a hat-trick for Athletico.

Kevon Woodley was another player to score a hat-trick in the round as his heroics guided Wolf Pack FC to a 3-0 win over Generation Next FC.

In other results, Mayaro United got past Tamana Utd FC 4-0, Valencia and Manzanilla United played to a 2-2 draw and Trincity Nationals outlasted Futuristic FC 5-2.
