1,000 runners for Eastern Credit Union Road Race

THE 32nd Eastern Credit Union 15K and 5K Road Race will be held from 6 am on Sunday.

This is the first time the event will be held since 2019 because of the covid19 pandemic.

The 15K event will start at La Joya Facility in St Joseph and head west as far as Farm Road, St Joseph (WASA). The race will then move eastwards on the Priority Bus Route to Five Rivers Junction before heading west to end before the St Joseph Police Station.

The 5K event will start in Tacarigua by the St Mary’s Children’s Home. The participants will run west along the Priority Bus Route and end before the St Joseph Police Station.

Over $50,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Registration for the 15K event is closed, and there are just a few more spots available in the 5K event.
