Police remind the public of SoE

The police have said  there were no large crowds in the western peninsula on Sunday.

In a release, they said they were aware of a video circulating on social media purporting to show breaches of the public health regulations with people gathering in groups of more than ofive.

The release said  police from the Carenage Police Station, with the assistance of estate police constables of the Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA), were patrolling and ensuring that no such gatherings were occurring.

The police service reminded the public of the current state of emergency and the calls by the Government and health officials for only essential activities and for strict adherence to the public health regulations.
