Supt Roger Alexander takes charge of SORT

COMMISSIONER of Police Gary Griffith announced on Wednesday that Supt Roger Alexander will be the head of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT).

The announcement came at the weekly press briefing at the Police Administration Building in Port of Spain.

Alexander replaces Insp Mark Hernandez, who has been suspended pending the outcome of the case in which he has been charged with misbehaviour in public office.
