151 new covid19 cases, two more deaths

The Ministry of Health has reported another 151 new cases of covid19, which brings the total cases since March last year to 9,947.

The death toll from covid19 now stands at 161. Monday's figure was 159.

The new reported cases reflect the results of samples taken over the past two days, between April 24 and 26.

The number of total active cases is now 1,505.

Of these, 152 people are currently hospitalised. Ten are in step-down facilities, 243 in state quarantine and 1,192 people in home self-isolation.

As of 4pm on Tuesday, 41, 669 people had received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
