Mr Solo Too mechanic 'Kokie' dies

LEGENDARY TT powerboat team Mr Solo Too lost another member as mechanic Narace “Kokie” Ramdhanie has died.

A post on the TT Powerboat Association (TTPBA) Facebook page said, “The TTPBA is saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Narace Ramdhanie, fondly known as “Kokie.”

Ramdhanie was a member of Mr Solo Too for over 40 years. “Kokie has been with the Mr Solo race team since 1980 in the capacity of lead mechanic where he has been part of 13 Great Race victories. He was always a pleasure to be around and had a wonderful sense of humour. Kokie you will be missed. Rest In Peace.”

This is the second Mr Solo Too stalwart to die over the past few months following the death of Gino Fusco in November. Fusco, a navigator for Mr Solo Too for 21 years, won ten Great Race titles.
