Mohammed wins best student prize

Tariq Mohammed won the $6,000-prize for the Best Student in the Communication Systems Option, in the BSc in the Electrical and Computer Engineering programme.

Mohammed was awarded at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Faculty of Engineering’s Annual Prizes and Awards ceremony this year.

In a media release, Flow country manager Kurleigh Prescod said the prize, sponsored by the company for the second consecutive year, is "evidence that we see these young students as representing the future of innovation in technology."

"We are a company with its heart connected to the people we serve and communities within which we operate," he said
