NESC mourns Franklin Khan

THE National Energy Skills Centre (NESC) on Tuesday joined the rest of the country in mourning Energy Minister Franklin Khan.

Khan, 63, died at his Maraval home on Saturday.

In a statement, the NESC recalled that as energy minister, Khan served on its board of governors.

"We appreciated his guidance and support."

NESC chairman Wayne Bertrand said, "We were saddened to learn of Minister Khan’s passing. We are grateful for his long and dedicated service to our country. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Khan family at this time.”

NESC president Kern Dass said, “Minister Khan will be remembered for his service to Trinidad and Tobago and for his guidance, support and leadership in our energy sector.”
