Energy Chamber welcomes Young as new minister

The Energy Chamber has sent its congratulations to Stuart Young on his appointment as Minister of Energy and Energy Industries.

In a media release it said Young has been deeply involved in the restructuring of the gas value chain over the past six years and has been central to many of the negotiations with international companies in the sector.

The chamber said it was looking forward to continuing to work closely with Young in his new portfolio, on both this issue and other critical issues for the energy industry.

Young was given the portfolio of Minister of Energy and Energy Industries after the sudden death of Franklin Khan last weekend.

Other portfolio shuffles included Fitzgerald Hinds as the new Minister of National Security and MP for La Horquetta/Talapro Foster Cummings as the new Minister of Youth Development and National Service.
