PUBLIC Services Association (PSA) president Watson Duke on Monday dared Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) executive director Lennox Sealy to fire him from the authority.

Duke also told WASA workers "to be prepared for progress or protest" because the PSA has a plan to make WASA "take a breath and pause for a cause."

In a video posted on Facebook, Duke declared he will not be replying to an April 14 letter sent to him by Sealy, instructing him to respond by Wednesday or he will be fired from WASA.

Last month, Duke said he was on no-pay leave from WASA and he would not be returning to his job.

Describing Sealy as "Lazy Lennox Sealy," Duke told him, "I will not respond. If you name boss, you fire me!"

He warned Sealy that if he was fired on Wednesday, his lawyers were prepared to bring criminal charges against Sealy.

Duke reiterated his claims that Government planned to shut down WASA. He claimed the PNM always hires young ministers to do this task, comparing Public Utlities Minister Marvin Gonzales to Warner Bros Looney Tunes character Speedy Gonzales.

Promising WASA workers the PSA had a plan to "take the fight to the hills and valleys" to stop any plan to shut down WASA, he said they had nothing to fear.

"You can put it in your pipe and smoke it. You can dip it in your tea and drink it."
