24 new covid19 cases, another death

The Ministry of Health recorded 24 new covid19 cases in its 4pm update on Monday. There are now 834 active cases. Another death has brought the total to 154.

These figures reflect samples taken between April 16 to 18.

The update said 17,695 people have been vaccinated since the rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

There have been 8,964 covid19 cases to date and 7,976 have recovered so far

Eighty-four patients are in hospital, 296 in state quarantine, seven in step-down facilities, and 719 in self-isolation.

A total of 112,300 people have been tested at private and public facilities.
