Three more deaths, 134 new covid19 cases

THREE more people have died of covid19 between Saturday evening and Sunday evening, according to the latest update by the Ministry of Health on Sunday.

"The persons were elderly males with co-morbidities," said an additional statement on the ministry's website.

Further, some 134 more people were reported from Thursday to Saturday as infected with the virus, the update said.

The website said these people will be "processed for admission at the discretion of CMOHs (county medical officers of health)."

The update said the total number of active cases was now 847 people.

So far, some 120,513 people have been tested for covid19, including 56,567 people at private facilities.

TT has had in total some 8,940 covid19 cases since last year March.

Some 7,940 people have recovered. Some 85 patients are in hospital, seven are in step-down facilities, 288 are in state quarantine facilities and 623 are in home self-isolation.
