Tobago entertainer in custody after dispute with landlady

A Tobago entertainer and his wife have been detained by police after a confrontation with their landlady on Thursday.

Newsday learnt the confrontation, which occurred in Crown Point, involved outstanding rent and the construction of a wall on a property.

It is alleged that when the landlady and her family showed up at the site, the entertainer doused them with an unknown substance.

The landlady is said to be warded at the Scarborough General Hospital in serious condition.
