THE body of 29-year-old man who drowned at Maracas Bay on Tuesday was recovered on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, around 2.45 pm, Insp Rampallard and other officers of the police service's Air Support Unit, using a drone, spotted a body some 200 feet from shore.
Rampallard along with fishermen in the area retrieved the body, which was later identified as that of Royce Felix. Felix, of Saroga Drive, Arima Old Road, D'Abadie, along with his boss and and co-workers visited the beach on Tuesday.
It was reported then that Felix got into difficulties while bathing and disappeared under water. The Coast Guard was also called to assist with search and rescue.
