THE EDITOR: Because there is a rare possibility that people who receives the AstraZeneca vaccine may develop blood clots, here are some questions for the medical fraternity to answer:

1. What blood clots symptoms should we look for?

2. How are blood clots diagnosed? X-ray, CT scan, MRI?

3. What are possible treatments for these blood clots?

4. Are these treatments available in TT?

5. Which hospitals have access to these treatments?

6. Where should a person go if they suspect they have a blood clot?

If there are answers to these questions, then the public can be assured that in the rare occurrence of having this reaction it can be treated successfully.

Come on, Ministry of Health and the Medical Association, someone needs to come forward with some facts. Face the public. We need the public to be vaccinated and without some straight-talking that goal will not be achieved.
