Mechanical issues ground TT Spirit

Passengers who were scheduled to travel to Tobago aboard the TT Spirit at 6.30 am on Tuesday had to delay their journey after the vessel was unable to make the trip owing to "mechanical issues."

A notice issued on the Facebook account of the The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Ferry Service said the affected passengers will be accommodated on the 4 pm sailing on-board the APT James.

Further updates will be provided later today. The seabridge is expected to be serviced soon by the Buccoo Reef ferry which arrived in the country from Australia on week ago.
