70 new covid19 cases, 10,360 vaccinated to date

The Ministry of Health in its 4pm update on Tuesday recorded 70 new covid19 cases.

These figures reflect samples taken between April 10 and 12.

The country now has 566 active cases.

It said 10,360 people have been vaccinated since the rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine last Tuesday.

The total number of deaths remains at 146.

It said the number of covid19 cases since last year is 8,511, of whom 7,799 have recovered.

It said 71 patients are in hospital, 255 in state quarantine, five in step-down facilities, and 420 in self-isolation.

A total of 118,247 people have been tested at private and public facilities.
