Nabeel Mohammed wins Classified Tennis men's singles final

NABEEL MOHAMMED defeated Akiel Duke, in the men's A singles final, as the East Clubs Classified Tennis Tournament concluded at the Trinidad Country Club, Maraval on Sunday.

In a clash of the top two seeds, Mohammed prevailed 6-3, 7-6(6).

Kale Dalla Costa claimed the men's B singles crown, after a hard-fought 4-0, 4-5, 13-11 victory over fourth seed Clint Singh, while Em-Miryam Campbell-Smith whipped third seed Areatha Francis 4-1, 4-2.

Third seed Yeshowah Smith got the better of fourth seed Deron Dumas 4-2, 4-5, 10-6 in the men's C singles final. And, in the women's C singles title-decider, Aeryn Daniel-Joseph got past Kennedi McPhee 5-3, 5-3.
