Covax delivers vaccines to Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda

Covax has delivered AstraZeneca covid19 vaccines to Antigua and Barbuda and Grenada.

This leaves Haiti and Montserrat the only Caricom countries yet to receive Covax vaccines .

On Friday, Grenada got 24,000 doses and Antigua and Barbuda got the same number on Thursday.

Other Caricom countries that got 24,000 doses include Suriname, St Lucia, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Jamaica got 14,400, while Barbados, the Bahamas, Belize and Trinidad and Tobago got 33,600 each.

Dominica got 28,800 and St Kitts and Nevis 21,600.

In total, Covax has delivered 2,952,080 doses of vaccines to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
