Ethan Hill leads boys 11-13 category at Republic Bank Junior golf

ETHAN Hill continues to lead the boys 14 to 15 age group in the Republic Bank Junior Golf tournament at the Millennium Lakes Golf and Country Club in Trincity.

Hill maintained his position on top with 78 on Wednesday’s day two. Hill, who shot 80 on day one, has an overall score of 158.

Ayden Ali 161 (85 and 76) and A Kangoo 167 (81 and 86) are second and third respectively.

In the boys 16 to 18 category, Christopher Richards Jnr still leads the field. After shooting 73 on day one, Richards Jnr had another solid showing as he shot 72 to end day two with 145.

Jean-Marc Chevrotiere is still in second position. He followed up his score of 75 on day one with 74 on day two for an overall score of 149.

Zico Correira is third as he ended day two with 159 after shooting rounds of 83 and 76.

Faatimah Emamalie leads the chart in the girls 11 to 13 age group with 188 (95 and 93).

Elise La Borde, the only other competitor in the category, is 25 shots back on 213 with rounds of 107 and 106.

Isaiah Rowley, who is the only participant in the boys 11 to 13, shot 93 in each round for a score of 186.

The third and final round will be held on Thursday.
